nestor for newbies - Workshops with experts for beginners

Objectives and Tasks

In its "nestor for newbies - information and exchange for beginners" format, nestor is aiming in particular at providing employees who are newly interested in the field with the possibility of familiarising themselves with the practical challenges of digital long-term preservation and of comparing notes. Questions can be put and contacts forged in direct exchanges with experts.
It organises a loosely programmed series of one-day workshops with experts that address specific aspects of digital long-term preservation and present them in a comprehensible form.

Two events per year are planned initially. Participation in the sessions is free of charge.
The dates will be announced in good time on the nestor site, in the nestor newsletter, through our popular mailing lists and on Twitter.
